Do you want me to tell you something? I always have too little time. Always. It doesn’t matter whether it is in the morning when I get up or in the evening to sleep when I go to bed. I would like my day to have 48 hours every now and then. But well, we all know this is not going to happen. So lately, I’ve had to start dividing my time differently and better. This change is also affected by my time in the bathroom, more precisely, my makeup and make-up routine.
Admittedly I’ve never been someone who stood in front of the mirror for hours. However, I’ve always had a preference for quick and simple products that do their job so well on their own that you don’t need an infinite amount of time and an infinite amount of professional knowledge. When I found Shiseido cosmetic products, I was on fire. Not only because I was finally able to take the time to make up my face again consciously, but also because I knew that the products would be made for me.
Product – The mascara
I don’t know about you guys, but mascara is always half the battle for me when it comes to looking “made up.” Even if I have dark eyelashes, they are naturally curved like a folding rule. Right, not at all. Therefore, for me, mascara is always the first and most important step when it comes to creating a make-up look. The Shiseido Controlled Chaos Mascara (dermatologically and ophthalmologically tested) brings great curl, definition, and volume to our lashes. I also really like the color intensity – a rich and dark black, which can be clearly seen on the eyelashes and leaves a strong look. You can also find more striking colors such as purple, blue or green in the range if you like.
Product – the highlighter
At least as important and a loyal companion in my cosmetic bag for years: highlighter products! What do I like about the shimmering Aura Dew highlighter from Shiseido? It is a multi-purpose product, meaning it can be used for different areas and for different effects on the face. The classic is the application on the cheekbones or the heart of the lip, but I decided to use it as an eyeshadow for my makeup look. It comes in three different colors (gold, silver, and rose), which can be easily mixed with each other thanks to their formulation. I wear a mix of gold and rose on my eyelids.
Product – The eyeliner pencil
Instead of black, I currently prefer dark brown. This is less harsh and doesn’t make my eye extremely small. By the way, if you want to give your eye more size, you should use white kohl and makeup on both the lower and upper eyelids.

Product – The lip balm
Does it just seem like that to me, or does one become more demanding with age ?! While I only wanted my lipstick to look good in the past, today it is all the more important to me that it also cares. Dry lips are a horror for me and not only unbearable in winter. That’s why I now prefer lipsticks that add color to my lips while moisturizing and nourishing them. The Colorgel Lipbalm by Shiseido does exactly that. It contains wax so that the slightly tinted balm (available in 15 different colors) virtually melts into the lips. One of my favorite colors is the number 217. A light shade of orange that now looks great on lightly tanned skin in summer
